Bawar Movement protests in Kandahar province.

Today, hundreds of members of the Bawar movement staged a massive protest in Kandahar province against the construction of Gambiri Airport in the Nangarhar province. Members of the Bawar movement in the province said: “In the master plan of Martyr Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan, Gumbiri is an agricultural land and a water dam shall be built for agriculture from the Kunar water. To carry out this plan, Nakamura, a Japanese Afghan, was killed by Pakistan so that no dam would be built here and water from the Kunar River would flow into Pakistan".

Now that the Afghan government is building the airport, it means that the Afghan government is doing it at the behest of Pakistan. Meanwhile, two areas or other large and suitable plains (Salozo and Rudat) are designed for Nangarhar Airport. We will not allow the government to deal on our soldiers’ blood who sacrifice themselves to preserve the honor of this country.

Pakistan and Iran kill our soldiers, old men, old women, young people and children by terrorists, our young people are burned, drowned and rockets are fired over the cannon, our mosques and houses are destroyed by these two countries. But our government gifts them our rivers. The people of Afghanistan are no longer asleep and ignorant, we have come to stop such betrayal. After Eid, we will have protests of tens of thousands of people across the |"country, and the fate of this country will be determined by the nation, not by the traitorous”.
